The Framework

Three-Ring Decomposition

We don't rate films. We decompose them. Every title is separated into three independently scored dimensions — a structured method for isolating where the craft holds and where it fractures.

Performance 8.0

Ring 1 Story

Narrative architecture. We measure plot mechanics, dramatic stakes, character arc completion, and thematic coherence. The question: does the screenplay convert its premise into emotional truth?

Ring 2 Concept

Conceptual design. Genre positioning, world-building logic, originality quotient, and cultural context. Is the foundational idea structurally sound enough to carry the narrative weight?

Ring 3 Performance

Cinematic execution. Directorial control, technical craft, acting calibration, and production design. Does the filmmaking apparatus serve or diminish the source material?

Morphokinetic Pacing

Beyond static scores, we map emotional intensity across narrative time. The morphokinetic curve models how a film distributes tension, release, and convergence — revealing the pacing architecture that determines whether a story breathes or suffocates.

Tension Gradient ∇T
Rate of emotional intensity increase between consecutive narrative beats. Steeper gradients indicate tighter dramatic compression.
Release Valley Δr
Deliberate decompression zones — the inverse intensity differential between a peak and its subsequent trough.
Convergence Point Cp
Where story, concept, and performance scores simultaneously maximize — the structural climax of cinematic craft.
